Cambridge
Cambridge is perhaps the most well run small city in the US. It's considered one of the safest cities in the country and the quality of life always teeters at the top of US lists. Cambridge has the lowest property taxes in Massachusetts and is served by an excellent network of public transport. The diverse residents are some of the most active in the commonwealth; a very walkable city, with bike lanes and the Minuteman Bike Path. Some of the best restaurants in the Boston area are located in Cambridge and are often called foodie heaven. The Kendall Square, MIT neighborhood has, over the last 10 years, become the epicenter of the Bio-tech world. Cambridge has become known as the region's most innovative hotbed housing many of the top institutions in technology, education, and the arts. Further know as: "The Birthplace of Higher Education"; Harvard, MIT, Cambridge College, Lesley University all contribute to a young and lively population.
