Seaport
Seaport is the newest neighborhood in Boston. As its name implies it is an area along boston harbor that used to be an active shipping port. Geographically the Seaport is strategically located between the Financial District and South Boston.
A plethora of high end retail, restaurants and nightclubs now activate the streetscape drawing many of Boston's elite and influential residents. The area is also home to the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Boston Convention Center, and expansive public spaces along the water such as Fan Pier Park.
The Seaport has also become increasingly popular as an office destination. In the past five years there has been an immense influx of startup and established companies (including GE, PwC, Amazon and Reebok, to name a few) relocating to the Seaport. The area is serviced by the Silver Line, providing easy access to South Station in a matter of minutes.
In what some have called “the hottest neighborhood in Boston” apartment rentals and condominium sales in the Seaport are achieving pricing levels never seen in Boston.
